Set of 6 vintage dining chairs was crafted in the 1970s by Ebénisterie Seltz in solid oak. The design stands out for its bold, sculptural construction and distinctive three-leg base.
The workshop, based in the Alsace region of France, was known for its refined craftsmanship and respect for natural materials. During the 1970s and 1980s, it also produced designs for French furniture designer Pierre Chapo.
The central front leg flows seamlessly upward into the backrest, creating a strong architectural line. The two rear legs angle slightly outward and connect diagonally beneath the seat, giving the chairs a dynamic, well-balanced appearance. Both the seat and backrest are made from solid oak panels.
The chairs remain in good original condition with traces of use consitent with age.

Deze set van 6 vintage eetkamerstoelen uit de jaren 70 is vervaardigd door Ebénisterie Seltz. De stoelen zijn uitgevoerd in massief eikenhout en kenmerken zich door een uitgesproken, sculpturale vormgeving.
Ebénisterie Seltz was een kleinschalig familieatelier uit de Elzas, bekend om het gebruik van hoogwaardige houtsoorten en een ambachtelijke, functionele ontwerpstijl. Het atelier werkte in de jaren 70 samen met onder anderen Pierre Chapo.
Het unieke driepootsonderstel zorgt voor een krachtig lijnenspel. De voorpoot loopt vloeiend door in de rugleuning en vormt zo één elegant geheel. De licht verzonken, ronde zitting biedt extra zitcomfort. De rugleuning is voorzien van een subtiel uitgesneden detail dat tevens dient als handgreep.
De stoelen verkeren in een goede vintage staat met gebruikerssporen passend bij de leeftijd. vlekken krasjes
