Pianura sectional sofa set designed by Mario Bellini and manufactured by the Italian brand Cassina in 1972.
Large living room set , consisting of 3 x 2 seater sofa , 3 large ottomans and 2 coffee tables. Unique vintage design crafted from solid Italian walnut wood. Pillows are reupholstered with new high quality fabric.
The sofa is modular and different compositions are possible. Sofa is in a very good vintage condition. The walnut frame has some minimal traces of use. This sofa has been carefully reupholstered with a high quality natural and caramel colour fabric.
Mario Bellini (1935–) is an internationally renowned Italian architect + designer. He graduated from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1959 and has received accolades in a variety of design fields, including the Compasso d’Oro award eight times and the Gold Medal for Lifetime Achievement by the Triennale di Milano.
