Alky design armchair designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Castelli in its original grey fabric. Later production is taken over by the dutch design brand Artifort.
The condition of the chair is good. The foam as well as the fabric are in good condition. Vintage traces of use due to age but very minimal. One spot on the back of the chair. See pictures.

About the designer:
 
Giancarlo Piretti is born in 1940 in Bologna Italy. He teaches interior design at the Art institute in Bologna. After that he becomes the head of development at Anonima Castelli where he designs chairs and furniture systems. Known for the famous folding chair Plia and Alky chair. Later Artifort took over the production of Castelli of the Alky chair.
