Michel Ducaroy (1925-2009) was a renowned French furniture designer known for his groundbreaking work in modern design. He is most celebrated for his collaboration with the iconic furniture company Ligne Roset. Ducaroy's groundbreaking design was the Togo sofa, introduced in 1973, which became an instant classic and a symbol of the design aesthetic of the 1970s. The Togo from Ligne Roset
The togo is now celebrating its 50th anniversary and millions have been sold around the world. The togo is still for sale today, but due to its popularity the waiting time is very long. Michel Ducaroy is not solely responsible for Ligne Roset's Togo. He also designed the Kali, the Kashima, the Marsala and the Gilda.
